Representing one of Britain’s most powerful freight locomotives, this Graham Farish N scale model depicts Class 60 No. 60096 in the striking Colas Rail Freight livery. Built by Brush Traction between 1989 and 1993 for heavy freight work, the Class 60s featured Mirrlees engines and were initially assigned to BR’s sub-sector freight divisions. No. 60096 reflects the later career of the class, when several locomotives were transferred to Colas Rail following privatisation and restructuring. This updated model features a new chassis with a Next18 DCC decoder socket and factory-fitted speaker, plus upgraded lighting including independently switchable directional head/tail lights and cab lighting (cab lights DCC only).
