This 1:35 scale static plastic model kit represents the Studebaker US6-U3, a WWII-era U.S. military 6×6 cargo truck. Designed in 1941 and widely produced by both Studebaker and REO (from 1943), over 200,000 units were built in thirteen variants. Featuring a robust chassis and powered by the 94 hp Hercules JXD inline-6 engine, the US6 was known for its excellent off-road capabilities and reliability under extreme conditions. While most trucks were delivered to U.S. allies under Lend-Lease, the US6-U3 also saw service with U.S. forces, notably the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers during the Alaska Highway construction. This kit includes four marking options, including the truck driven by Rusty Dow—the first woman to drive the Alaska Highway—in 1944. Finished dimensions: 183 mm (length) × 77 mm (height).
