This 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit accurately recreates the German Leopard 2 A7V, a modern upgrade to the Leopard 2 A7 tank. With a length of 320mm and a width of 110mm, this model features enhanced front hull armor to improve survivability and new running gear to handle the additional weight. It retains the L/55 120mm gun from the A6 variant, capable of engaging enemy armor up to 5 kilometers away when using the latest ammunition. Design evolutions include a sight device for better vision in low visibility, new tracks, and a new rear turret basket. The real-world Leopard 2 A7V began its upgrade program in 2021, with 104 tanks scheduled for conversion. The model captures the robust form of the A7V, including detailed representations of mud flaps on the turret rear sides. The assembly features snap-together tracks for ease of construction, and photo-etched parts are used to recreate the engine grille mesh and turret-side basket sections. The kit includes two torso figures (commander and loader) with interchangeable headwear, plus three marking options for different variations. (Glue and paint not included.)
