This 1:72 scale plastic model assembly kit recreates the iconic Avro Vulcan B.2, the ultimate Cold-War delta-wing strategic bomber whose swept, kinked leading-edge wing and powerful Bristol Olympus engines carried Britain’s nuclear deterrent for nearly a decade. First flown in August 1952 and entering RAF service with No.83 Squadron in July 1960, the B.2’s refined wing design, improved range, and Blue Steel stand-off missile capability made it a potent peacekeeping asset throughout the V-bomber era. Based on exhaustive study of real airframes, the kit comprises 277 precision-molded parts on sprues and includes decals for two authentic post-war RAF schemes. The finished model measures 450 mm in length with a wingspan of 470 mm. (Glue and paint not included.)
