This 1:48 scale model kit of the U.S. Navy JD-1D “Jig Dog” Invader comprises 208 parts, builds to 323 mm in length with a 448 mm wingspan, and offers two marking options (BuNo 89075, VU-3 U.S. Navy 1950s and BuNo 140356, China Lake 1958). Designed for intermediate modelers, it features finely molded details of the twin-engine airframe, cockpit, and external stores, accurately reflecting the post-WWII target-towing, drone-control, and reconnaissance roles of the Invader before its re-designation as the DB-26J.
