Amusing Hobby Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.H Krupp Entwurf W1466 [1:35]Item No: AH35A037

This 1/35 scale plastic model kit represents the German Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.H, specifically the Krupp Entwurf W1466 variant, a proposal for an advanced version of the Pz.Kpfw.IV used during WWII. The Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.H was an improved version of the well-known Panzer IV, equipped with a longer 7.5cm KwK 40 L/48 gun and enhanced armor to better withstand increasing Allied tank threats. The Krupp Entwurf W1466 was a design study that aimed to further improve mobility and firepower, incorporating changes such as thicker turret armor and modified chassis to handle the more powerful gun. However, this specific version was never mass-produced, as the design was eventually replaced by other modifications and the Panzer IV’s continued production. The kit offers an insightful look at this unproduced variant of the German tank.
