Tamiya Russian Medium Tank T-55A [1:35]Item No: 35257

This 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit faithfully replicates the T-55A, one of the most widely produced and deployed post-WWII main battle tanks. First manufactured in 1958, the T-55A featured upgrades over the base T-55, including an anti-radiation liner and protective cupola cover. The model captures the tank’s compact design, with its oblique glacis plate, hemispherical turret, and 100 mm main gun. The kit offers options to build a standard T-55 or the T-55A variant, including configurations with or without the DShK-M anti-aircraft machine gun, and allows representation of Soviet, Polish, or Czechoslovak-built units. Detailing includes engine grilles, external fuel tanks, and other distinct fittings. One tank commander figure is included, along with markings for five different schemes. Finished model dimensions: L 259 mm. (Glue and paint not included.)
