This 1/12 scale static model of the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP 30th Anniversary commemorates the 30th anniversary of Honda’s iconic CBR 900RR, which pioneered the super sports genre in 1992. With a length of 176 mm, this kit features a 999cc inline-4 engine producing an impressive 218hp, inheriting advanced technology from Honda’s RC213V MotoGP bike. The model beautifully captures the aerodynamic form of the bike, including internal winglets in the side cowls, with precise depictions of the engine, swing arm, front fork, and Akrapovic muffler, all screw-attached to the frame. The side and under cowls can be removed to reveal the intricate inner workings of the bike. The tricolor livery is represented through Cartograf decals, and the model includes decals for the 30th Anniversary logos on the fuel tank. The tires feature authentic texture and tread patterns, while metal transfers are used for the mirror surfaces. Additionally, the kit offers a choice of single or tandem seat parts. For realism, the fuel tank cover and engine top airbox are separate molded parts. The model can be displayed with a side stand extended, and the slide-molded components of the muffler and fuel tank reflect the bike’s intricate contours. The model is compatible with separately sold Item 12690 for further enhancement.
