This 1:48 scale kit offers a detailed replica of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 K-4, the final and most advanced production variant of Germany’s iconic WWII fighter aircraft. With a model length of 18.8 cm and Skill Level 3, the kit is designed for intermediate modelers seeking historical accuracy and technical detail. Introduced in late 1944, the Bf 109 K-4 “Kurfürst” was based on the earlier G-series airframes but featured several key upgrades. It was powered by a 2000 hp Daimler-Benz DB 605 supercharged engine, enabling it to reach speeds exceeding 720 km/h and granting it an exceptional rate of climb, often superior to Allied fighters of the time.
