This 1:72 scale plastic model assembly kit recreates the Hawker Typhoon Mk.IB, the Royal Air Force’s rugged low-altitude interceptor and fighter-bomber that entered service in 1942 to replace the Hurricane. Powered by a Napier Sabre engine and armed with four 20 mm cannons—later fitted with bomb and rocket racks—the Typhoon excelled in ground-attack sorties over Northwest Europe following D-Day. Based on detailed study of original airframes, this kit comprises 74 precision parts and offers two authentic marking schemes. Contents include plastic sprues, an instruction sheet, paint layout guide and decal sheet. The finished model measures 134 mm in length with a 174 mm wingspan. Skill Level 1.
