This 1:72 scale plastic model kit faithfully recreates the Blohm & Voss BV 222, the largest flying boat of World War II and one of the most imposing aircraft ever built. With 282 detailed parts, the kit allows assembly of the V5 version in two historically accurate variants: Luftwaffe LTS 222 (Mediterranean, 1942) and a captured Allied version (Norway, 1945). Measuring 503 mm in length and 150 mm in height, it features finely rendered cockpit and navigator stations, positionable maintenance hatches, rotatable defensive turrets, and a full decal set for both liveries. Aimed at advanced modelers (Level 5, age 13+), this kit offers a technically demanding and rewarding build. The BV 222 was originally developed for Lufthansa, but its immense range (7,000 km) and size made it a strategic Luftwaffe transport during WWII. Though only 13 were produced and none survive, this kit revives the legend with unmatched accuracy. (Glue and paint not included.)
