This 1:48 scale plastic model kit represents the de Havilland Chipmunk T.10/T.20, the aircraft that replaced the Tiger Moth as the RAF’s standard primary trainer from 1950. Designed to provide basic flying instruction, the Chipmunk became a foundational part of British and Commonwealth flight training programs. With excellent flying characteristics and a modern (for its time) design, it trained generations of pilots and continues in limited use today supporting heritage flights like the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
