The Dapol Imperium 2 is a NEXT18 (NEM 662) 6-function DCC decoder designed to provide comprehensive functionality at an affordable price. It is engineered to support advanced features found in Dapol models, such as independent lighting, while maintaining compatibility with other manufacturers’ locomotives featuring standard directional lighting or no lighting. The decoder operates with most motor types and fits any model equipped with a standard NEM socket. Compatible with NMRA and MOROP DCC standards, the Imperium 2 does not support RailCom. It offers a continuous motor load capacity of 1.0 Amp and a peak motor current of 2.0 Amps. Each function output is rated at 100 mA, supporting lighting and auxiliary functions per standard decoder specifications.
