This 1/72 scale hybrid assembly kit recreates the German Flakpanzer IV “Ostwind,” a late‐war self‑propelled anti‑aircraft gun built on the Panzer IV chassis and armed with the rapid‑fire 3.7 cm FlaK 43 cannon. Developed to protect armored formations and field installations from Allied air attack, the Ostwind featured an open‑top, fully rotating turret with the powerful AA gun. Dragon’s collaboration with Lexa Models elevates this kit with a newly designed, fully 3D‑printed turret and gun shield, complemented by precision‑molded plastic hull components and an array of photo‑etched brass parts for mesh screens, periscope guards and interior details. The suspension units, separate road wheels and hull hatches may be assembled in open or closed positions, offering dynamic display options. Engine deck grills, panel lines and rivet detail are crisply rendered to match original factory drawings. The kit includes a finely printed decal sheet for authentic Wehrmacht markings and a step‑by‑step instruction booklet guiding the advanced modeler through assembly and painting.
