This 1:72 scale plastic model kit represents the two-seat trainer version of the pioneering Messerschmitt Me262, the world’s first operational jet fighter. Developed to transition Luftwaffe pilots from piston-engine aircraft to jet-powered flight, the Me262B-1a/U1 featured an extended fuselage and second cockpit position for an instructor. While primarily a trainer, some variants, like the B-1a/U1 night fighter, were equipped with radar and armament for operational missions. The kit includes 74 finely detailed parts, a full instruction sheet, a paint layout guide, and decals for two livery options: the night fighter of 10./NJG 11 (Red 12 + RAF captured version) and the Avia CS-92 in postwar Czech Air Force service. Accurate panel lines, twin jet engine nacelles, and finely molded cockpit features are faithfully reproduced. Once completed, the model measures 152 mm in length with a 192 mm wingspan.
